I began my career long before graduating with an honours degree in fine art. I have drawn horses nearly all my life and I'm still inspired by their natural beauty and elegance. I was often told in my college years that drawing horses is not 'real art' but to me " horses are art! " I work mainly in pastels, as I feel its velvety finish and colour hues complement the texture and sheen of a horses coat and help capture light and movement . I also work in pencil, ink, oil, fabric or whatever works I'm open minded. My love for animals extends beyond horses and I have drawn a diverse array over the years. From Cows, dogs and cats to chickens, deer, pheasant, and even Macaws! So let me enjoy immortalising your special pets .Thanks !

How to commission a painting
Your 'original' picture from £99 up to £195! - [Quote for A3 size picture] Not a print a unique picture thats yours forever! To allow myself a reasonable hourly rate I can't charge any less.

Smaller pictures for less price negotiable, I may even barter for something you have email me for details.

If you like what you see, and you want to commission a new work, drop me a line. Or attach some scanned photos or a description of what you want. Obviously the quality of the finished work will depend on the quality of the photos or description, but please save any attachments as JPEGs and keep the file size down below 500k, or my webspace provider complains! A simple painting (like those you see above, at about 12 inches by 18 inches) is 195 pounds sterling plus postage costs.

For smaller pictures price is negotiable so please ask I may even barter!
